18U Youth Women’s Canadian National Team Selection Announced

18U Youth Women’s Canadian National Team Selection Announced
(MONTREAL) – Water Polo Canada has announced the names of women athletes selected to participate in the 18U World Water Polo Championships, which will be held from December 12 to 18 in Auckland, New Zealand.

This announcement caps the program’s thorough training and selection process which started in April 2016 and during which the young athletes were closely coaches and guided by Water Polo Canada staff. 

“"This is truly an exceptional group of athletes and it was a very tough selection. We are now looking forward to continuing our progress heading into World Championships in New Zealand," said Andrew Robinson, the program’s Head coach. 

The group of young women will complete final preparations in Montreal from November 21 to 27, before travelling to their main competition.
